Joanna began freelance videography and photography in high school. Like her mom, she was almost always carrying around a camera. At 17, she began working for a local tv news station where her work ranged from technical directing to digital producing and reporting. In college, she operated camera and graphics for sports broadcasts and concerts, and her time in the Zaki Gordon film program provided her the opportunity to grow in her camera and editing abilities. After college, she continued to pursue camera work commercially, especially in behind the scenes stills and videography.
